The Church of St. Peter or “The Kirche St. Peter” is famous by the locals as Alter Peter meaning “Old Peter”. It’s one of the best tourist attractions of Munich. The church is the oldest one in the district and is exhibiting the St. Mundita Skeleton, beautiful masterpieces of Jan Polack and many altars by Ignaz Günther.

The church’s tower offers a picturesque view of all the city, all you have to do is to walk up 299 steps to the viewing platform. You may even reach the gorgeous Alps with your sight.
