Galata Tower

Dates from the 6th century, the Galata Tower is a historic landmark in Istanbul.

Situated on a hill, the nine story 66.9m medieval stone Galata Tower used to be the city’s tallest structure. faces the Golden Horn and the Bosphorus.  On the top, the views are simply amazing, and you can find a restaurant and a cafe there to sit and enjoy the bosphorus and beautiful views. 

It’s a perfect point for photographers as well to get a wide view of the city. Catching it at sunset would be the best time.
