Giacometti murals is the city’s police headquarters entrance hall with unique and captivating walls and vaulted ceiling.
The locals call the hall “The hall of tiny flowers” because of its beautiful floral decoration and perfectly matching colors. The building was an orphanage, then transformed to a police station by the architect Gustav Gull in 1900. Later, it was painted by Augusto Giacometti. The artist did an impressive job and turned the hall to a masterpiece.
Once you enter the police main station entrance, you will be amazed by his talent. You can watch the hall for only 10 minutes maximum.
