Jumeirah Mosque is a splendid mosque and a symbol of the Islamic architecture in Dubai. It’s a copy of Al-Azhar Mosque in Cairo but eight times bigger.

Jumeirah Mosque was built from the white stone in the medieval Fatimid style with two high minarets and a central dome. The mosque becomes more stunning when it’s illuminated at evening.

Jumeirah Mosque is the only mosque in Dubai that welcomes non-muslim guests.

The Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Cultural Understanding organises tours to the mosque in a convenient and casual atmosphere. The tours start at 10 am daily except Friday, and lasts 75 minutes. Visitors have to reach the mosque entrance by 9.45 am to take the tour.
