Munich Residenz

From 1508 to 1918, the Munich Residence used to be the royal palace and the government’s seat of the Bavarian dukes and rulers.

Munich Residenz is a magnificent large palace open to public who would be taken by its gorgeous architecture with a dominant Renaissance style, inner decorations and the precious royal collections exhibited inside the castle’s rooms. The collections include items from Europe and East Asia like porcelain, ecclesiastical vestments and silver.

The tours within the castle will include the Ornate chapel, the Stone rooms, Trier Rooms, the apartments, as well as the gardens and the fountain courts. Also, you will enjoy exploring the Nottbohm Collection of European Miniatures during your visit.
