The Orsay museum is one of the top visited landmarks in Paris and that’s not for no reason. The building itself is impressive, an ancient railway station wonderfully designed for the Paris World Exposition of 1900 turned later into a museum.

Located on the bank of the Seine, the Museum is recognized for its famous giant clocks and uncommon metallic construction decorated with thousands of glass squares. At night, with the lights shining the city, the view of the building from the Seine is irresistible.

The Orsay Museum is known for being home to the world’s largest collection of impressionist and post-impressionist art plus to unique pieces from the period 1848 to 1914. Incomparable sculptures collected from many other museums mostly of Luxembourg, Louvre, Jey museums are displayed in one place. Thousands of valuable paintings of legendary like the famous Rodin, Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Pierre Auguste… will captivate your senses.
