Parc De La Ciutadella was managed to be an open air museum for 1888 universal exhibition and many special relics are still present. Original sites are spread around the park

We can mention the Castell Del Tres Dragons, the Umbracle, the Hivernacle, a lake and a sublime waterfall in the northern corner. There are also remaining of the citadel such as the governor’s palace, the military chapel and the arsenal building turned into the headquarter of Parliament of Catalonia.

Parc Ciutadella includes also geological museums and Barcelona zoo featuring 315 species of fauna and flora. From the temple on top of the park, you win panoramic views on the area.

As you walk through numerous wind paths, you will find a sculpture of “women and umbrella”, the famous “Desconsol” statue, a bastard, a massive mammoth statue and plenty of art works that make Ciutadella park worth a visit. The park is idyllic for practicing yoga, swing dancing, running, cycling or evolving with locals in collective activities.
