Located in Madrid historic site, the Royal palace of Madrid tells details about the king’s reign during centuries. The gorgeous Royal palace of Madrid was designed originally by Italian architect Juan Bautista Sachetti under order of Phillips V and was completed 26 years later. Since king phillips V son moved to the palace, it continued to a be a royal residence for successive kings until 1931. Today the Royal Palace celebrates receptions and official ceremonies.
The palace is ravissing from the inside as well as the outside. Sumptuous furniture, imagery and sculptures of famous artists are displayed in a fascinating building. In front of Royal palace is located a beautiful square called Plaza Oriente centred by a statue of Philip IV added to other statues of kings and queens all around the square.
