A part of Hellbrunn Gardens, the purpose of Salzburg zoo is to represent the natural life system of diverse creatures. It promises amusement and enrichment for visitors along with the beauty of the gardens.

The remarkable natural landscape gathers thousands of animals from all part of the planet in one place. It’s continuously developed and today includes 1200 animals from 140 species.

At Salzburg Zoo guests are welcome to visit the different continents. The area of Africa presents the harmonic lifestyle of the Savannah. It’s especially visited for the exciting cheetah complex and the wild bird’s park. Red pandas, snow leopard and white handed gibbon depict the amazing life in Asian nature. Explorers of the zoo will like to meet the Kangaroo babies from Australia or watch some inhabitants of south America such as monkeys and puma lurks.
