St. Bartholomew’s Cathedral (Frankfurt Cathedral)

The St. Bartholomew's Cathedral or Frankfurt Cathedral is a Roman Catholic Gothic cathedral.

Located in the Frankfurt Old Town, the church is considered as one of the important national monuments of the city.

The cathedral, or as called in German the Dom, isn’t a real church actually, it’s an imperial great church where many emperors were crowned between 1562 and 1792.

The cathedral has an astonishing building from the outside and very attractive artworks and sculpting in the inside. You can see one of the most amazing views from the Dom tower.

You’ll need to climb some tough stairs in order to reach the tower but the view is really worth it.
