The St Peter’s church is one of the four main famous churches of the city’s old town. But it’s also one of the most special churches in Europe with its large clock and old painting dating back to the 1800’s and 1900’s.
The tower clock, put since 1880, is 8.7 meters in diameter and have five bells making it the largest clock face in Europe.
From the Middle Ages to the 18th century, the church was used as a fire watch post. It has witnessed many constructions and restorations for years.
