The Zürich Zoologischer Garten or just the Zurich Zoo is the best destination for fun seekers. Visitors from all ages will enjoy their visits, especially the little kids. They have the chance to discover the magnificent creatures from around the world: Elephants, tigers, gorillas, snow leopards, spectacled bears.

The zoo presents 2200 specimens of over 300 species by 2004. The animals are all put in appropriate conditions and habitats. There are also over 10,000 varied plants around the zoo.

One of the most attractive sections of the Zoo is the Kaeng Krachan Elephant Park, expanded in 2014 when the baby elephant ‘Omysha’ was born. The new outdoor complex made for them matches their Thai natural environment and allow visitors to see the animals swimming, playing, and splashing up close.

The Masoala Rainforest, is not less ravishing. It’s a tropical oasis including 17,000 species of plants and trees and over 430 animals. Visitors can learn here about the forest facts and issues.

If you plan a visit during winter, you can watch a penguin parade. It’s an amazing daily penguin show, happening only if the temperature is below 10 degrees Celsius.
